Britta Phillips is a renowned American rock singer, known for her mesmerizing voice, captivating audience and having brought immense fame to the music industry. Born on June 11, 1963, in Boyne City, Michigan, Britta graduated from Western Michigan University. She was raised in a family of musicians, her father being a jazz and classical musician who worked with well-known artists including Philip Glass, Herbie Hancock, and Kai Winding. Britta’s first stint at fame began in the 1990s when she played for The Belltower and Ultrababyfat bands. She gained vast recognition for being the singing voice of Jerrica Benton in the animated cartoon 'Jem and the Holograms', which aired from 1985 to 1988.
