Gary Goldberg

Gary David Goldberg was an American screenwriter, producer, and director who is best known for his remarkable contributions to the television industry. Born on June 25, 1944, in Brooklyn, New York, Gary Goldberg grew up with a passion for storytelling, which eventually led him to become an iconic figure in the entertainment world. He was an exceptional screenwriter whose credits include the classic sitcoms Family Ties and Spin City, which earned him numerous accolades and cemented his position as one of the most prominent screenwriters in television history.

Gary Goldberg spent most of his childhood in Brooklyn and attended the public schools of East Meadow. He was raised in a Jewish family and learned the value of hard work and perseverance from his parents. He went on to attend Brandeis University, where he graduated with a degree in theater arts. After graduation, Gary moved to California, where he began his career as a writer.
