Henri Coanda

Henri Coanda was a Romanian-born pioneering pilot and aeronautical engineer, whose groundbreaking experiments with flight helped shape the development of modern aviation. Born in Bucharest, Romania on June 7, 1886, Henri Coanda was one of four children born to Constantin M. Coanda, a distinguished mathematics professor.
