Lil Duval

Lil Duval is an American stand-up comedian born on June 12, 1977, in Jacksonville, Florida. He is a prominent face in the world of comedy, known for his witty humor and distinctive style. Duval's real name is Roland Powell, and he grew up in a close-knit family with his sister, Rolanda.

Duval kicked off his career in comedy in 2001 when he participated in a talent competition in Oakland, CA. Impressed by his performance, he was discovered by several Comedy Central executives, who helped him land his first television appearance on "BET's Comic View."

After gaining the recognition he deserved, Lil Duval's name started to become increasingly prominent in the entertainment industry. In July 2013, he was given his own show on MTV2, titled Ain't That American. Additionally, he is a series regular on the MTV2 shows Guy Code and Hip Hop Squares.
