Martín Elías Díaz

Martín Elías Díaz was a Colombian singer, songwriter, and performer, who became known in the music industry as a pioneer of new wave vallenato music. He was born on January 18th, 1990, in Valledupar, Colombia, and tragically passed away on April 14th, 2017, at the age of 27.

Martín Elías Díaz came from a family of musicians, with his father being the famed singer and composer, Diomedes Diaz. He started performing with his father at a very young age of six.
