Mary Livingstone

Mary Livingstone was an American entertainer and actress, best known for her long career and marriage to the legendary comedian Jack Benny. Born as Sadie Marks on June 23, 1905, in Seattle, Washington, Mary became a well-known figure in the entertainment industry as a talented artist and performer, earning her place in the history as a veteran of the golden era of radio.

Mary had immense talent in performing and wanted to pursue a career in the entertainment industry from a very young age. After graduating from high school, she enrolled in the University of Washington, where she developed her skills as a performer and participated in local theatrical productions. It was at a Passover Seder where Mary was just 14 years old that she first met Jack Benny, who was 11 years her senior.
