Wolfe Tone

Wolfe Tone, hailing from a small village called Bodenstown in Ireland, was a remarkable politician and one of the founding members of the United Irishmen. Known as the father of Irish republicanism, Wolfe Tone was a revolutionary who played a significant role in Ireland's fight for independence. Born on June 20, 1763, he grew up in a family of twelve children and was the youngest of them all.

He took up the role of Secretary to the Catholic Committee in 1792, which aimed to promote the emancipation of Irish Catholics.
